Nagoya Basho has started today. Georgian Levan Gorgadze, also known as Tochinoshin, won the first meeting. Levan beat Ikioi easily.

In the second round the Georgian will face ozeki Chiyonokuni. Levan leads head-to-head 5:1. The meeting will be held on July 9.
