The Georgian U-17 football team coached by Nodar Akobia defeated Kazakhstan 6:0 at the international tournament “Development Cup” which is under way in Minsk.

According to the press service of the Georgian Football Federation, Akobia had the following players in lineup:

Goshadze, Kapanadze, Katsitadze, Kevlishvili, Nadaraia, Komakhidze, Mamuchashvili, Lashkhia, Kiknadze, Mikeltadze, Jobava.

Kiknadze scored double. Jobava, Lashkhia, Mikeltadze and Goshteliani also scored goals.

The Georgian team won the first half 3:0.

Iran is also opponent of the Georgians in the group. The Iranians beat Kazakhstan 3:2. On January 22 the Georgian team will play Iran and the winner of the group will be found out. Yet, the Georgians are in the first place.
