The 30-year-old Georgian sumo wrestler – Tochinoshin - who guaranteed Emperor’s Cup one round before the end of the super tournament, beat Japan’s Shota Endo today. Gorgadze has defeated Endo only once before.
The Georgian owner of Emperor’s Cup had an incredible support today. About 13 000 spectators cheered his name during the award ceremony.
The last round was also successful for Teimuraz Jugeli – Gagamaru gained the 8th points and guaranteed positive balance – kachi-koshi with 8 wins and 7 defeats.
