Georgian top seed Nikoloz Basilashvili will play in the main draw of Shanghai Masters. In the final of the qualifying draw Nikoloz beat Vasek Pospisil of Canada 7:6, 2:6, 6:3.

In the main draw the Georgian will face Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina. They have never played each other before.

The match will be held on October 9, at 14:00 Tbilisi time.
