The Georgian cadet and youth Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling teams won 16 medals at “Azerbaijan Federation Cup”.

Cadet Greco-Romans wrestled on April 19. Lado Shavadze (63 kg) became champion. In the final he beat Arif Niftulayev of Azerbaijan 2:1. Irakli Dzimistarishvili (42 kg), Roman Lominadze (54 kg) and Giorgi Marshania (100 kg) took the third place.

Young Greco-Romans wrestled on April 20. The day finished with 3-3 silver-bronze medals and the team second place. Shmagi Bolkvadze (66 kg), Lasha Gobadze (84 kg) and Samuka Darchia (120 kg) won silver medals. Gela Bolkvadze (74 kg), Nikoloz Kakheishvili (96 kg) and Zurab Gedekhauri (120 kg) took the third place.

Cadet freestyle wrestling team took the second place.

Ramaz Turmanidze (42 kg) and Meki Simonia (76 kg) lost the final. Aleksandre Lominadze (50 kg), Goga Mamiauri (58 kg) and Levan Inasaridze (63 kg) won bronze medals.

“Azerbaijan Federation Cup” ended up with the competition of young freestyle wrestlers. Ramaz Darchidze (55 kg) took the third place. Giorgi Bregadze, Shota Partenadze (both 60 kg), Avtandil Kenchadze (66 kg) and Irakli Mtsituri (84 kg) took the fifth place.
