The Georgian national football team played 1:1 with Austria at World Cup Qualification.
Vako Gvilia scored his first goal in the national team. Jano Ananidze earned assist. Austria was not in a good mood because it lost chance to make through to Mundial in Wales.
The pace was low and only Arnautovic changed it sometimes. At the end of the half the Austrians strengthened offences and scored a goal – 1:1. This goal was logical.
In the second half, Austria had a territorial advantage. Jaba Kankava started playing better. Our team lacked the aggression which they had against Ireland. Perhaps, they were tired because we have many players who do not have playing practice in clubs.
It is interesting how Georgia will finish the qualifying stage. On October 6 we will host Wales and on October 9 we will visit Serbia. Yet, we have no win but five draws.
