Ilias Zouros, head coach of the Georgian national basketball team, talked about the team one day before the start of EuroBasket.

“Zaza is doing everything to be back. After injury he needs time to find his rhythm. He is a player with big experience and will help the team for sure. Zaza knows what we need from him. Our team had good results recently but now we start from zero. We will face top teams and we must play aggressively. Our goal is to be competitive in all games. The first game against Lithuania was a friendly one. Now it will be a different game and we must prepare for it” – Ilias Zouros told the press service of the Georgian Basketball Federation.

Georgia will hold the first game of EuroBasket against Lithuania on August 31. The game will start at 19:30 Tbilisi time.
