The Georgian national basketball team continues to surprise fans. Two days ago the Georgians beat host Greece (72:71) at Acropolis tournament. Yesterday they defeated Serbia.
The Serbs gained advantage at the beginning of the game and won the first quarter 15:20.
The Georgians played better in the second half which finished tie – 36:36.
The second half turned out to be tense. The Serbs started better and won the third quarter with 5 points. The last quarter was decisive. The Georgians played better and gained victory – 68:66.
Tornike Shengelia was the best from the Georgian national team. He earned 21 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists and made double-double. Duda Sanadze gained 10 points and 2 rebounds. Giorgi Tsintsadze earned 9 points, 1 rebound and 5 assists. Giorgi Shermadini gained 8 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist.
