The Georgian national team captain Zaza Pachulia left for Greece with the team, but will not take part in the tournament in Athens.
As it is known, Zaza got injured in one of the practices. The medical examination revealed that the trauma is not alarming, but the player will have to undergo a rehabilitation course for a week in order to meet the EuroBasket in good form.
The Georgian national team left for Athens today morning, where will held the final stage of preparation for EuroBasket and on August 23-25 will play at the Acropolis Cup. The Georgian basketball players will play against Greece (23th August), Serbia (24th August) and Italy (25th August). The national team will move to Israel from Greece and on August 31 will face Lithuania.
