Georgia Lost to Japan

Georgia handball U-19 team lost to Japan with a big score 30:22 in the second meeting of World Championship.

The first half finished with 14:9 in favor of the Japanese.

Beka Orjonikidze’s team started the second half well, but in the first half of the second half one of the leader Erekle Arsenashvili left the arena due to the red card and the Georgian team applied to tactics, which turned out to be unsuccessful.

The biggest lag with the Japanese team was 8 points. The Georgians finished the second half more efficiently that the first one 16:13, however it did not have much influence on the finak account. The match ended up 30:22.

After the meeting, the best players of both team were named. Luka Bulbulashvili was named from the Georgian team and Sueoka from the Japanese. The latter has scored 10 goals in today’s match.

As for B group, Georgian handball team complicated their situation.

Iceland and Germany earned 2-2 wins and are leading the list.

Recall that Georgian U-19 handball team will play Iceland on August 11, 18:00.
