Today European Judo Open has started in Minsk, Belarus. Five Georgian judokas participated in the morning program but all of them lost before ¼ final and the final block will be held without the Georgians.

In the main draw Phridon Gigani (73 kg) beat two opponents and lost in 1/8 final. Lukhum Chkhvimiani (66 kg) and Beka Shavdatuashvili (73 kg) won one meeting. Lasha Giunashvili (66 kg) and Mariam Janashvili (57 kg) lost the first meeting.
