The Georgia U-19 team celebrated the first victory at European Championship. The Georgians beat Sweden 2:1.
It was a good match. Crusaders’ good play paid off. Giorgi Chakvetadze was the best on the field.
Giorgi Kokhreidze scored the first goal at the third minute. The Georgians had advantage during the whole first half. At the 31st minute Chakvetadze scored the second goal. The first half finished 2:0 in favor of Georgia.
The second half started with unexpected goal of Sweden. Gyokeres scored this goal – 2:1. The Georgians made more goal moments during the rest of the time but in vain. Finally, the Georgians won 2:1 and earned 3 points. They will hold the next match against Czech Republic on July 8. The match will take place at Mikheil Meskhi stadium.
