On June 5, in the hotel “Mokhalise”, the GFF President Levan Kobiashvili and General Secretary Davit Mujiri met with the representatives of the clubs of National League and National League 2 and the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Tariel Khechikashvili.

The main topic was the measures to be implemented within the state program of football development and the decisions taken at a cabinet meeting on June 1.

According to the Georgian Government’s resolution, some changes were made in the state program of the development of football and the required amount (total 211 126 949) to finance the future and already performed measures were defined, which means that the Georgian football will receive annual funding of 37 million Gel in the current and future years.

It was also decided that additional 100 million Gel will be assigned for infrastructure projects.
