After cadet Greco-Romans, junior Greco-Romans participated in “Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Cup” and gained medals in all eight weight categories.

The second day of the four-day competition turned to be successful for the junior team of Georgia. The team, coached by Soso Jabidze, won 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals and occupied the third place among 11 countries.

The Georgian wrestler Nugzar Tsurtsumia (55kg) stood on the highest step of the pedestal. Ramaz Silagava (50kg) and Temur Chkuaseli (84kg) lacked one victory to the title. Shota Ghlonti (50kg), Giorgi Gujabidze (66kg), Beka Mamukashvili (74kg), Guram Khetsuriani (84kg) and Beka Makaridze (120kg) took the third place.

The freestyle wrestlers will participate today and the junior team will compete with expanded composition
