Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team gained 5 medals at U-23 European Championship, which took place in Szombathely, Hungary and occupied the first place in team result.
Top three was filled in 8 weight categories. Georgia had participants in all weight categories and Ramaz Zoidze (71kg) and Gela Bolkvadze (80kg) were the best among them. Both of them reached final and lacked the only victory to the champion title.
Dato Chkhartishvili (59kg), Lasha Gobadze (85kg) and Zviad Pataridze (130kg) took the third place.
Ednar Shavadze (66kg), Bakur Gogoli (75kg) and Kukuri Kirtskhalia (98kg) stayed beyond the top three.
The Georgian team earned 47 points and surpassed Russia with 2 points and Azerbaijan with 5 points.
