Serbia’s national team head coach Slavoljub Muslin evaluated the match against Georgia. According to him, the Serbian team played the worst first half of recent years and added that the Georgian team did not deserve defeat.
“I said yesterday that the team of Georgia is a good team. I like your team and have not changed my opinion. They played the first half very well and had several chances to score 2:0. In the second half the Georgians had no moments, but I think they did not deserve such failure.
The first half was the worst of the Serbian national team and I am sorry for my friend Vladimir Weiss, because I repeat, they did not deserve the defeat. As for the concrete players – all of them played well, despite the fact that they lacked three leading players”, - said Muslin.
Recall that the Georgian national team lost to Serbia 1:3 and after 5 rounds occupies the second place from the bottom with 2 points.
