Tornike Okriashvili is the best football player of Georgia 2016. The forward of Krasnodar and the Georgia national team received the majority of votes.

“First of all, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As for my award, I am very happy and thanks for it”, - stated Okriashvili.

Besides Okriashvili, the nominees were Jano Ananidze, Guram Kashia and Vako Gvilia.

The GFF’s poll ended up on December 20. Head coaches and captains of First and Second Leagues participated in the poll. Head coaches and captains of women’s and futsal clubs also participated in the poll.
