The Bewitched Circle

The Georgia national team fell to Ireland for the eighth time. Georgia lost after the brilliant first half, lost by curious goal and it is disappointing: how you cannot score goal in such a good half and how you can so easily be scored.

Seamus Coleman, captain of the Ireland national team, scored a goal at the 56th minute. Neither Solomon Kvirkvelia nor Giorgi Loria managed to parry the ball.

This was a loss of concentration. Our team started the second half badly. This goal cannot be said to be illogical but it was really illogical after the first half.

The Georgians gained advantage at the beginning of the first half and kept it for 10 minutes. They held one of the best halves, had very good moments but Ireland was lucky.

The second half started is a different way. The Georgians often lost the ball. Jano Ananidze could not fulfill his instruction. We expected more from him.

Unfortunately, Georgia cannot hold two halves steadily well. Sometimes the first one is good and sometimes the second one.

In the end, Georgia had all forwards on the field but in vain. It is a bewitched circle. We cannot even play draw with Ireland.

On October 9 Georgia will face Wales.
