The Georgia national basketball team lost to Montenegro 74:76 in EuroBasket 2017 qualifying game. Spectators watched a dramatic game at Sports Palace. Winner was found out at the last seconds when Nemanja Duresic scored two points and Michael Dixon missed a shot.
At the end of the game Georgia lacked two centers Zaza Pachulia and Giorgi Shermadini due to 5 personal fouls.
Pachulia was named the best player of the game with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Viktor Sanikidze made a double-double (10 pts, 10 reb). Tornike Shengelia (13 pts, 9 reb) and Michael Dixon (13 pts, 4 ast) scored more than 10 points.
On September 10 Georgia will play Albania away.
