Vladimir Weiss, head coach of Crusaders, answered questions of journalists at the pre-match press conference. According to the Slovak specialist, his team can show good football in tomorrow’s match.

Weiss could not name favorite of the qualifying round – according to him, every team, including Georgia, has chance in the group.

- Do you think you have chance of winning tomorrow’ match?

- It is important for us to hold the first match successfully. In my opinion, it is a very balanced group and every match is very important.

- What will your tactic be?

- Our main goal is to find a right aspect.

- Is Tornike Okriashvili ready to play 90 minutes?

- Okriashvili joined us two days ago. His transfer to Marseille failed and is in a very tough situation but we will see if he is ready to play.

- Why did Giorgi Papunashvili move to the youth team and will Giorgi Aburjania be able to play?

- We have good players on Papunashvili’s position and that is why, I decided that he should play in the U-21 team. Generally, I am satisfied with him and he has a great future. As for Aburjania, he is injured.

- Austria played quite badly at European Championship. How would you evaluate the opponent?

- I think Austria was not lucky at European Championship. In my opinion, it is a very good team which has world class players.

- Which team is a favorite in the group?

- Serbia has very good players and it can be considered one of the favorites. There are also Austria, Ireland and Wales – these teams played at European Championship. So, I cannot name only one.

- Is it possible that Guram Kashia will play as a midfielder and the team without center forward?

- I cannot say because I have not decided yet.

- What is the goal of the Georgia national team in this qualifying round?

- Every positive result is a step forward for the Georgian team. Good result in each meeting is very important.

- Some players do not have playing practice. How is this problem solved for tomorrow’s match?

- It often happens in football. There are injuries, disqualified players. We have the same problem before the match against Spain. Generally, it is very tough to have optimal composition in the national team.

Georgia-Austria match will take place at Dinamo Arena on September 5. The match will start at 20:00.
