Levan Kobiashvili, president of the Georgian Football Federation, is a majoritarian candidate of the political party Georgian Dream in the 2016 parliamentary elections.
Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili presented Kobiashvili. According to him, the GFF president will run in the 21st district of Gldani.
In case of winning the elections, Kobiashvili will continue working in the Georgian Football Federation.
Another former football player Mikheil Kavelashvili will also run for the Georgian Dream. He will run in the 18th district of Nadzaladevi.
