The Georgia women’s archery team finished participating in team championship at Rio Olympics. Khatuna Narimanidze, Kristine Esebua and Yulia Lobzhanidze failed to Mexico in the first round of play-off. The Georgian archers lost all three sets: 50:54, 52:58, 55:57.
The Georgians will also compete in individual championship. The first-second rounds of play-off will be held on August 9-10.
In the first round Narimanidze will face Lidiia Sichenikova of Ukraine, Esebua – Deepika Kumari of India and Lobzhanidze – Alejandra Valencia of Mexico.
