Metreveli and Peng won 4 matches. They defeated Polish tennis players Gawron and Majchrowicz 6:4, 6:2, Nedovyesov of Kazakhstan and Sidorenko of France 6:2, 7:5, the French Doumbia and Sakharov 6:1, 6:2 and Poland’s Kowalczyk and Majchrzak 6:4, 3:6, 10:8.
Metreveli also participated in singles but in the first round he lost to Agustin Velotti of Argentina 6:7 (2:7), 2:6.
