After one-year pause Giorgi Papunashvili played against Alashkert. According to Papunashvili, he is not in good shape yet and hopes to play better in the second leg.

Giorgi thanked fans for coming to the stadium.

“I want to thank fans who came and supported us. They played their role in our victory. As for my game, I was a substitute but hopefully, I will be in lineup in the second leg.

The second leg will be tough and we do not have a right to relax. Today we are happy but we will be happier if we go through to the next round”, - stated Giorgi Papunashvili.
