Giorgi Chanturia: "We Must Gain Over Our Fans with Good Play"

Georgian national team’s forward Giorgi Chanturia, who missed the friendly matches with Slovakia and Romania, prepares for today’s match with Spain. The Georgian directed his attention to the mood of fans and noted that the team should play well to be rehabilitated.

“I did not take part in the match against Slovakia, because I had club matches and joined the team later. As for the match against Romania –I got trauma at the training. We had two bad meetings, made many mistakes… now, in my opinion, we play the number one team in the world. There is very bad mood in Georgia, but we have nothing to lose. We must do everything to show good football and gain over our people” – GFF press office reports the words of Chanturia.

The friendly match between Spain and Georgia will take place today, Madrid, at “Alfonso Perez” stadium and will start at 22:45 Tbilisi time. The first public TV channel will offer the live stream.
