Almaty Grand Prix has started today and men’s two weight categories were filled without Georgian judokas.

Giorgi Brolashvili (60 kg), Giorgi Gugulashvili and Tornike Tatarashvili (both 66 kg) wrestled in the name of Georgia.

Brolashvili started wrestling in the second round and fell to Rustam Ibrayev of Kazakhstan by ippon. Tatarashvili also lost the second round. He failed to Fabio Basile of Italy.

Gugulashvili defeated Juan Perez of Chile (2:3) but then fell to Adrian Gomboc of Slovenia.

Tomorrow champions and prize winners will be revealed in 73 and 81 kg. Tatalashvili, Shavdatuashvili (both 73 kg), Levan Gugava and Lasha Zurabiani (both 81 kg) will wrestle in the name of Georgia.
