Dzagnidze Is a Half Point behind the Leaders

Mariya Muzychuk (2555) is leading III stage of FIDE Women’s Grand Prix which is under way in Batumi. The Ukrainian chess player beat Olga Girya of Russia (2442) and is in the first place with 4.0 points.

Five chess players, including Nana Dzagnidze (2535), are 0.5 point behind the leaders. Dzagnidze defeated compatriot Nino Batsiashvili (2476) and is in the third place.

Only one game finished draw win the sixth round. Bela Khotenashvili (2493) played draw with Valentina Gunina of Russia (2497). The Georgian chess player is in the last 12th place with 2.0 points.

Batsiashvili is in the 10th place with 2.5points. Lela Javakhishvili (2489) also has 2.5 points but is in the 8th place. Lela lost to Xue Zhao of China (2504).
