Javakhishvili and Girya Kept Leadership

The second round was held at FIDE Women’s Grand Prix in Batumi. The leaders kept their leadership. Lela Javakhishvili beat compatriot Bela Khotenashvili. Another leader Olga Girya (Russia) defeated Xue Zhao of China.

Nana Dzagnidze played draw with Anna Muzychuk (Ukraine) and Nino Batsiashvili played draw with Alexandra Kosteniuk (Russia).

In the third round the leaders will play with black pieces. Javakhishvili will face Anna Muzychuk and Girya will play Batsiashvili.
