The cooperation memorandum was signed between “Georgian Railways” and National Basketball Federation. GBF’s President Mikheil Gabrichidze and General Director of “Georgian Railways” Mamuka Bakhtadze signed the agreement.

Financial support will be provided for the Super League, the national and age teams. Besides the national team, this support spreads on three age teams – U-16, 18 and 20. “Side by side for victory” – the Georgian railways supports Basketball Federation and encourages fans to be more engaged in order to make basketball more popular in the country. The signing ceremony was attended by officials – Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia Tariel Khechikashvili and Supervisory Board’s Chairman of “Georgian Railways” Koka Guntsadze. Heads and official guests made their speeches and after the signing, the comments were made in connection with this remarkable fact.
