In the 13th round of Euroleague Top 16 Manuchar Markoishvili’s “Darussafaka” visited “Crvena Zvezda” in Belgrade and managed to shock 18 278 (!) spectators in “Kombank Arena”.
The Serbs needed only victory for making through to playoff but they could not achieve the goal.
The third quarter turned out to be decisive and the Istanbul club won the game 80:61.
Markoishvili was not in lineup but spent 19:49 minutes on the floor. The Georgian basketball player scored 1 from 4 2-point and 1 from 2 3-point, earned 5 points, 1 assist and 1 steal. Manuchar had 2 turnovers and received 2 personal fouls.
“Darussafaka” has 4 wins and 9 defeats and is in the 6th place in Group E. The club is 2 wins behind the fourth-place “Anadolu Efes”. So, it has no chance for playoff. On April 8 “Darussafaka” will hold the last game against “Lokomotiv” Kuban.
