The Georgian national team defeated the opponent in all components – it was the message of Lynn Howells, head coach of the Romanian national team, at the post-match press conference.
“Of course, the Georgian national team won deservedly. The hosts played much better than us. The opponent defeated us in all components – lineouts, scrums… Unfortunately, I could not see anything positive in the game of the Romanians” – stated the Welsh coach.
Stelian Burcea, captain of “The Oaks”, agreed with the coach and noted the Georgians won deservedly:
“There were some episodes in the first half where we played well. The Georgians started playing even better in the second half. Overall, the hosts won deservedly” – noted Burcea.
After yesterday’s failure (9:38) Romania took the second place at European Nations Cup.
