The first day of Davis Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group II turned out to be unsuccessful for the Georgian team which played Denmark at new Tbilisi Sports Palace. In the first match Nikoloz Basilashvili lost to Christian Sigsgaard and in the second one Giorgi Tsivadze (857) fell to Frederik Nielsen (431) 6:7, 0:6, 1:6.

Denmark leads 2-0 and is one win away from beating the hosts.

Doubles match will be held at new Sports Palace on March 5, at 15:00. Basilashvili-Tsivadze will face Nielsen-Thomas Kromann.
