After the success at Paris Grand Slam, Avtandil Chrikishvili earned 500 points and moved to the first place of world ranking. He surpassed French team leader, Olympic and World 8-time champion Teddy Riner (+100 kg).
Chrikishvili has 3340 points and Riner – 3000. In overall ranking Varlam Liparteliani is in the 6th place, Beka Gviniashvili – 31th, Amiran Papinashvili – 34th, Nugzar Tatalashvili – 41th and Adam Okruashvili – 44th. Other Georgian wrestlers are not in Top 50.
Recall that the members of Georgian team gained 1 gold and 1 bronze medals at Paris Grand Slam, which took place on February 6-7. Chrikishvili became the winner of this tournament (81 kg) and Varlam Liparteliani (90 kg) gained bronze medal.
