Guram Kashia is back in lineup of “Vitesse” Arnhem. Rob Maas changed tactical scheme of the club and “Vitesse” played with 3 defenders. Kashia played as a right central defender.

After the match the 28-year-old Georgian defender talked to the Dutch media and said this position was not ideal for me.

“It is not important whether I play or not. It is important to win the match. I have played on this position before and I also play in the national team but this position is not ideal for me. However, the players must accept decisions of the coach and I do it”, - stated Guram.

Kashia also made comment about support of the fans:

“Support of the fans is a great stimulus for me and my family. It is a great feeling when so many people are applauding and screaming your name. I want to thank the fans”, - noted the captain of “Vitesse”.

Kashia also made a statement about unsuccessful game of “Vitesse”. The team won only one from the last 6 matches.

“I am disappointed but we must try to play better and win the next matches”, - said Kashia.

Guram Kashia played in lineup for the first time since November 22. Overall, this year the Georgian football player held 15 matches and scored 3 goals.
