Georgian women’s tennis team will face Great Britain in B group.

Recall, that the Georgian team (Sopo Shapatava, Oksana Kalashnikova, Ekaterine Gorgodze, Sopo Kvatsabaia), captained by Maka Chakhnashvili, defeated South Africa 3:0 in the first match.

Georgian-British battle is scheduled for February 5 in Israel and the winner will continue fight for the Federation Cup’s World Group play-off.

Earlier, Georgian tennis player Sopo Shapatava made a comment: “It is a very difficult mission, when you defend your national team’s honor at the Federation Cup. I had a hard fight. I am happy with the victory, especially it was not my best game. Most importantly, we managed to best South African team”.
