Judokas Against Kevkhishvili

There is a new topic of conversation in the Georgian judo, which came to light last week. At the meeting of the Committee of Sports and Youth Affairs Olympic champion and current member of parliament Zurab Zviadauri raised the issue of one of the problems of the Georgian judo, more specifically, about the poor conditions for trainings and accused the president of the Federation Davit Kevkhishvili in returning judo in 90s.

Zviadauri said that experienced members of the team provided him about the bad conditions in the team.

The President of the Federation responded Zviadauri’s charge and as if the situation calmed down, but only for a few days until active judokas not turned against Davit Kevkhishvili. The scandal increases and a settlement is not visible in the near future.

One of the leaders of the Georgian team, three-time European champion Varlam Liparteliani confirmed Zviadauri’s statement about heating problem in training gym in the conversation with news agency for.ge. Liparteliani also said that the problem still remains, because the president of the Federation is not interested in this judoka’s problems.

Another member of the team Adam Okruashvili also criticized Davit Kevkhishvili. The current champion of Europe said that the Olympic Games is near and the team does not have normal conditions for training.

And at last one message from the Georgian judokas, which is the most dangerous and significant. The Georgian team’s members mention an opportunity to leave the country and to wrestle on behalf of other country, however fortunately, they add that due to their respect towards fans they are not going to do this.
