Football player of Georgian national team and “Dnipro” Ukraine Sandro Kobakhidze talked about the situation around Kakha Tskhadadze in the conversation with worldsport.ge. kobakhidze said that talk about the change of the coach before an important period damages common cause.

Kobakhidze: “All of the team’s players know what is going on. It is a pity everything happens before the qualifying round. As for the rush, I think, now when the situation has finally calmed down between the coach and players and appeared a hope to achieve desired result, I do not think it is a good decision to change the coach. On the contrary, now it is a time we all need to come together to make common cause. Divergence and conflicts will bring nothing good”.

We asked Kobakhidze what caused mistrust towards Tskhadadze and if there was a pre-condition:

“I know that Levan Kobiashvili is a honest person and he will be the first who will be happy with the team’s success. I do not know what caused it all. This problem should be accommodated as soon as possible.”
