The Georgian Football Federation executive committee meeting was held today. After that, GFF president Levan Kobiashvili and first vice-president Kakha Chumburidze held a press conference.

Yesterday “World Sport” wrote that Vasil Maisuradze will coach the Georgian U-17 team. Today head coach of the U-19 team was presented. Giorgi Kipiani will coach the youth team.

Levan Kobiashvili: We have finished working on internal structures and everything will be uploaded on our website. We will announce vacancies. We have discussed selling and demolishing of the stadiums which we oppose. We held some meetings regarding “Olimpi” stadium to find an alternative field for children. The children of “Olimpi” will practice in Digomi, on “Wissol” base. We also discussed GFF Academy in Zugdidi. This academy will work until summer.

…As for the head coaches of the youth teams: contract salary will be orientated on result. Salary will be low but if coach achieves result, he will have higher than fixed salary. This system is for the head coaches of the national and youth teams. I think it is a right attitude.

…Vasil Maisuradze will coach the U-17 team and Giorgi Kipiani will head the U-19 team. We have not made a decision who will coach the U-21 team.

Kakha Chumburidze: “We have stated we were not satisfied with game of any team. Maisuradze has achieved success in then U-17 team. Giorgi Kipiani is also a very experienced coach”.

We have put some questions to Kobiashvili:

- Kakha Tskhadadze stated some people are preventing him from doing his job. Rumor has it the federation is going to dismiss him.

- It is unclear to me. I do not know why Tskhadadze said this. I told him about new salary system but we do not know his answer yet. I do not think there is a communication problem between us. I consider him as a head coach of the national team. Nobody offered him unfair terms.

- The U-21 and U-18 teams do not have coaches. When will they be appointed?

- We are working on this issue. We do not want to make a hasty decision.

- Have you explained Gocha Avsajanishvili, former head coach of the U-17 team, the reason of his dismissal?

- Yes, I have. We have thanked Gocha and Vasil Maisuradze and we appointed Maisuradze in the U-17 team.

- If Tskhadadze does not agree on a new system, then what?

- I have already said we are waiting his answer.

- The Georgian Football Development Fund has been established and when will everything be announced?

- We are discussing a unified system of financing. Clubs will receive funds from the foundation. When the fund starts working, the clubs will not receive money from the state budget.

- The clubs had different reactions. For example, “Dinamo” Batumi stated local government gave the club more than million GEL annually and they do not want to have same conditions like “Sapovnela” or “Kolkheti”. How will it happen?

- The government will give the clubs minimum money.

- Is there any news about sponsors?

- The Football Federation is holding negotiations with different companies.
