Georgian forward Davit Skhirtladze will continue career in Denmark’s “Silkeborg”, the website of the club reports. The 22-year-old forward signed contract with “Silkeborg” until summer 2017.
“I am very happy for signing contract with “Silkeborg”. It is a great progress in my career. “Silkeborg” is a traditional team and is an ideal place for me. I will do my best to justify hopes.
Head coach Peter Sorensen knows me well and he knows where I can play better”, - stated Skhirtladze.
Sorensen also talked about the Georgian forward:
“Skhirtladze can play on four positions of offence. We will use his possibilities but I think his ideal position is behind striker”, - stated Peter Sorensen.
Davit Skhirtladze spent the first part of the season in “Aarhus” but he could not get in lineup. His Danish career started in 2011.
As for “Silkeborg”, it has 24 points and is in the 6th place in First Division.
