Goal Was Achieved in a Tough Match

The Georgian national rugby union team beat Namibia 17:16 in the last match of World Cup.

Irish referee George Clancy made some mistakes and annulled two tries of the Georgians in the first half. As a result of it, the Africans won the first half 6:0. At the extra time two Namibian players were sin-binned and they started the second half with 13 players.

At the beginning of the second half Mamuka Gorgodze scored a try and Merab Kvirikashvili used conversion. Soon Lasha Malaguradze scored the second try and Kvirikashvili used conversion again and then scored a penalty – 17:6. The Namibians played very actively in the last minutes. First, they scored a penalty, then a try and conversion. Finally, “The Lelos” won the match 17:16.
