The Georgian national basketball team beat Croatia 71:58 and here are post-game comments.

Igor Kokoskov: “We played freely in the last quarter. I am really happy. We have improved playing after the starting games. It is very important that we play well in defense”.

Duda Sanadze: “We are very delighted. Now we believe in our strength”.

Zaza Pachulia: “Today we played for victory. Winning over Macedonia helped us psychologically. We have proved that when we play well we can beat tough opponents”.

Tornike Shengelia: “We were very motivated. The first half was tough for us but everything went right in the second one”.

Manuchar Markoishvili: “It was a very important victory. We played well in defense. When Croatia scores only 58 points, you must be proud”.

Jacob Pullen: “Good game in defense has paid off. Counter offences helped us gain important points”.

Velimir Perasovic: “I can say we have not played so badly during the whole summer. When you earn only one steal, it is hard to think about success”.

Krunoslav Simon: “We started game badly. We were very weak in offence. Georgia played really well. Hopefully, we will play better in playoff”.
