Three members left the Georgian Football Federation’s Executive Committee before the elections, which should take place on October 3. The head of GFF’s General Secretariat Rezo Shengelia confirmed this information in the conversation with “World Sport”.

According to him, Grigol Tsaava (Tbilisi Football Federation’s President), Lasha Mindeli (Shida Qartli Regional Football Federation President) and Sulkhan Gogiberidze (Adjara Regional Football Federation President) left the Executive Committee on the basis of their application.

Shengelia said that they did not explain the reason. The Executive Committee will not be completed at the elections, October 3. As you know, selecting new members of Executive Committee usually takes place after the presidential elections.

As for the presidential candidates, three candidates are registered for now: Levan Kobiashvili, Revaz Arveladze and Mamuka Kvaratskhelia.
