“Forget Croatia, Georgia is ahead”, - this is the mood of Slovenian national team before today’s match, who after losing in the first round have no right to loose again. The Slovenian fans think the same, who really produced an impression on everybody during the match.

Approximately 3 500 Slovenian fans arrived in the capital of Croatia for EuroBasket and most of them are going to come to matches every day from their homes.

Before the upcoming match, Zagreb Prime Minister Miro Cerar encouraged Slovenians.

Slovenia’s Zoran Dragic made a comment: “No one can say that we were without any chance against Croatia. Small details decided the fate of the game. There was no big difference between the level of the teams. Discussing this match’s details should be postponed for next time, now we have to think about the meeting against Georgia. We have experience to play with them and they will not give up easily. the team suffered unplanned failure to Netherlands”.

It was not surprising that Slovenians are afraid of Zaza Pachulia. The center position in Slovenian team is not leading, therefore, controlling 3-second zone will be most thinkable.

“The first round showed that there are no weak teams in our group. The battle will be in every game and we expect the same in the match against Georgia. We cannot draw conclusions by failure to Netherlands. We have studied Georgian composition well and we know that they can create many problems”, - said Slovenian defender Klemen Prepelic.

Recall that the match between Georgia and Slovenia will take place today, 20:00 Tbilisi time.
