After losing the first match of Eurobasket-2015, it was clear that the Georgian delegation would not be in a good mood. After the match, all agreed that the failure was caused by a weak play in the first half.

Igor Kokoskov: “First of all, I congratulate the opponent. We were not planning easy victory and we were seriously prepared, however, the start turned out to be bad. It turned out that we played the last 10 minutes at desired level. It was very sad loss, but this was only the first game and many fights are ahead”.

Tornike Shengelia: “We were close to victory. It was bad that in the first half we were not in the desired level. This has left its mark to the match. Nevertheless, there is no time for inclining. We have to fight in the next matche”.

Jacob Pullen: “The opponent played hard. They were well prepared and probably did their best. We did our best to eliminate the backlog in the final quarter, however lacked a little. The reason of failure was that we started the game very hardly. It was mistake we gave Netherlands the chance to take a big advantage. Near the end, luck was on their side”.
