Gordon Strachan: "After the First Goal I Thought We Could Have Taken a Point"

Gordon Strachan, head coach of the Scotland national football team, was disappointed after losing 0:1 to Georgia. He stated they could have taken a point from Georgia.

Gordon Strachan: “In my opinion, what we have showed today was not enough for victory. Draw would have been a logical result. After the first goal I thought we could have taken a point from Tbilisi. Of course, I am disappointed.

The opponent goalkeeper did not have a tough ball to parry and it is a bad fact. We have been in tough situation before but we will find a way out”.

Vako Kazaishvili, forward of “Vitesse” Arnhem, scored the only goal at 38th minute. Scotland will hold the next match against Germany at “Hampden Park” in Glasgow on September 7.
