The Guria Football Federation has changed a delegate for the GFF presidential elections.

According to Benia Tavberidze, vice-president of the Guria Football Federation, it was a personal decision of the president of the regional federation.

According to Tavberidze, Kakha Ebralidze, president of the federation, introduced Gocha Tkebuchava’s candidature unilaterally, which led to protests and his dismissal.

“The president of the Guria Football Federation introduced Gocha Tkebuchava’s candidature unilaterally. The board members protested it and we introduced our candidature Mr. Iuri Chkhaidze”, - stated Tavberidze.

Kakha Ebralidze stated removal of Gocha Tkebuchava’s candidature was illegal.
