Sopo Shapatava and Russia’s Anastasiya Komardova won Mamaia doubles tournament (Romania, 25 000 USD).

Georgian-Russian tandem overcame Romanian duets in the initial rounds and in final beat Swiss players Knoll and Sadikovic 6:3, 5:7, 10:8.

In the singles tournament, Shapatava won over Moldovan Alexandra Perper (6:2, 6:3) and Romanian Camelia-Elena Hristea (6:2, 6:3), in ¼ final lost to Romanian Nicoleta-Catalina Dascalu – 6:3, 4:6, 6:7 (2:7).
