Georgian judo team will wrestle for bronze medal at the World Teams Championship in Astana. The team, coached by Irakli Uznadze, will face Germany in the repechage final.

In the main draw, Georgian team had two meetings. In the first circle, Georgia won over Tunisia 4:1. In ¼ final lost to Mongolia 2:3 due to questionable decision of the referees and made through to the repechage, where beat Russia – 3:2.

In the second final of repechage Kazakhstan will face Mongolia. Japan and South Korea will fight for the highest title. Final block meetings will start at 15:00 Tbilisi time.
