Georgian Cadet Team Became the European Champion

Georgian freestyle wrestling cadet team ended up the European Championship in Subotica (Serbia) with 9 medals and the first place. The team coached by Giorgi Iantbelidze gained 3 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals. The Georgian team occupied the first place with 83 points and surpassed the teams of Turkey and Russia, who occupied the second-third places with 64 and 59 points. Tornike Katamadze (42), Aleko Lomidze (58) and Iveri Julakidze (69) became the champions of the tournament. Giorgi Khachidze (46) and Demur Megeneishvili (76) gained silver medals, Teimuraz Vanishvili (50), Beka Chelidze (85), Tornike Kvinikadze (63) and Zuriko Urtashvili (100) – bronze.
