Georgia Moved to the 13th Position

Georgian national rugby team moved ahead on the World’s weekly ranking and occupies the 13th place now.

The progress of the “Lelos” was caused due to the results fixed in the third round of Pacific Cup. Japan lost to Fiji 22:27, lost 0.73 points and dropped to the 14th place. Fiji remains in the 10th place. Now, Tonga’s team is in front of Georgia, which defeated USA 33:19. Tonga is the opponent of Georgia at the World Cup 2015.

On August 3-4, another three meetings will take place in the final round of Pacific Cup. Tonga faces Japan for the third place, USA – Canada for the 5th place and Fiji and Samoa will play for the main prize. Their and Four-Nation Cup results will be represented on next Monday.
